Hallam, Arthur Henry, 1811-1833

Arthur Henry Hallam was educated in Eton and Trinity College, Cambridge. He was a poet and author and a close friend of Lord Tennyson. Hallam died at a very early age in Vienna in 1833. He is remembered as the subject of Tennyson's "In Memoriam." His own work "Remains in verse and prose of Arthur Henry Hallam" appeared in 1834.
